Headquarters Campground ca

Headquarters Campground is located at 2,800 ft. elevation north of Isabella Lake off county highway M99 along the Kern River in the Kern River Ranger District. There are 44 single family sites (up to 27 ft. length) including 1 accessible site. There are two 16 ft. diameter yurts. Each single family site contains a table, fire ring and bear resistant food storage box. The facility contains 2 single CXT vaults and 6 double vault buildings. The road and spurs are paved.

Goldledge Campground ca

Goldledge Campground is located at 3,200 ft. elevation north of Isabella Lake off county highway M99 along the Kern River in the Kern River Ranger District. There are 37 single family sites (up to 30 ft. length). Each single family site contains a table and fire ring. The facility contains 2 concrete vault toilets. The road is paved, and sites are a natural surface.

Fairview Campground ca

Fairview Campground is located at 3,500 ft. elevation north of Isabella Lake off county highway M99 along the Kern River in the Kern River Ranger District. There are 54 single family sites of which 2 are accessible. Each single-family site contains a table and fire ring. The facility contains 3 concrete vault toilets. The road and sites are paved.

Eshom Campground ca

Eshom Campground, elevation 4,800 feet, is located off FSR 30, the General’s Highway, south through Kings Canyon National Park at Quail Flat for 10 miles to county road 465 in the Giant Sequoia National Monument in the Hume Lake Ranger District. It sits adjacent to the Redwood Mountain giant sequoia grove. There are 22 campsites: 16 single family sites and 6 double sites with maximum trailer length of 30 ft. Each site contains a heavy-duty redwood table and fire ring. The facility contains 1 single and 2 double CXT vault toilets. The roads are paved, and sites are a natural surface.

Coy Flat Campground ca

Coy Flat Campground, elevation 4,700 feet, is located east of Porterville, CA off state highway 190 in the Giant Sequoia National Monument in the Western Divide Ranger District. It sits within the Belknap giant sequoia grove. There are 18 single family and 1 double site. Each site contains a table, fire ring and/or pedestal grill and tent pads. The facility contains 3 double wooden vault toilets. The road and camping pads are paved.

Camp 3 Campground ca

Camp 3 Campground is located at 2,800 ft. elevation north of Isabella Lake off county highway M99 along the Kern River in the Kern River Ranger District. There are 52 single family sites and 3 group sites. Each single family site contains a table and fire ring. The facility contains 6 double CXT vault toilets and 4 portable toilets in the group sites. The road and sites are paved

Boulder Gulch Campground

Boulder Gulch Campground is located at 2,644 ft. elevation on the east shore of Isabella Lake off state highway 155 in the Kern River Ranger District. There are 72 single family sites. Each site contains a table, fire ring and/or pedestal grill. The road through the campground is paved but the sites are a natural surface. A fish cleaning station is located near the restroom and has 7 faucet hydrants for 10 stand up cleaning stations. The station is open air and one trough with cutting boards drains into a vault. Trash cans are located under the trough. Hungry Gulch Campground and the Isabella Peak trailhead are located across the highway.

Big Meadows Campground ca

Big Meadows Campground, elevation 7,500 feet, is located off FSR 30, the General’s Highway, and adjacent to FSR14S11 in the Giant Sequoia National Monument in the Hume Lake Ranger District. Sequoia National Park is nearby. There are 44 campsites: 43 single family sites and 1 double site scattered in 5 loops along FSR14S11. Each site contains a redwood table, fire ring and bear resistant food storage box. The facility contains 5 single CXT vault toilets. The roads and sites are a natural surface.

Belknap Campground ca

Belknap Campground, elevation 4,800 feet, is located east of Porterville, CA off state highway 190 in the Giant Sequoia National Monument in the Western Divide Ranger District. It sits within the Belknap and McIntyre giant sequoia groves. There are 15 single family sites for tent camping only due to the access road. Each site contains a table and fire ring and/or pedestal grill. The facility contains two double CXT vault toilets. The road through the campground is paved but the sites are a natural surface.

South Fork Recreation Site kernville,ca

South Fork Recreation site is located at 2,600 ft. elevation on the south shore of Isabella Lake off state highway 178 and is accessed by a paved, single lane road. The operating season is year-round. The camping and day use areas at South Fork Recreation Site coexist in a dispersed situation on the large southern shoreline of Isabella Lake. There are no designated camping or day use sites or areas.

Old Isabella Recreation Site

Old Isabella Recreation site is located at 2,600 ft. elevation on the south shore of Isabella Lake and is sandwiched between Auxiliary and South Fork Recreation sites off state highway 178. The operating season is year-round. The camping and day use areas coexist in a dispersed situation on the large shoreline of Isabella Lake. There are no designated camping or day use sites or areas. There is a designated day use paved parking lot for boat trailers and vehicles

Camp 9 Recreation Site

Camp 9 Recreation Site is located at 2,630 ft. elevation on the east shore of Isabella Lake off county highway 521. The operating season is year-round. This site offers the traditional developed single family and group campgrounds, a boat ramp, RV sanitary waste station, fish cleaning station and day use shoreline activities all in one sprawling location adjacent to the lake shore.

Auxiliary Dam Recreation Site

Auxiliary Dam Recreation Site is located at 2,600 ft. elevation on the south shore of Isabella Lake off state highway 178. The operating season is year-round. The camping and day use areas at Auxiliary Recreation Site coexist in a dispersed situation on the large southern shoreline of Isabella Lake.
