Park Information

The Department of Water Resources has identified a potential seismic safety risk in a section of the foundation of the Lake Perris Dam.  There is no imminent threat to life or property, however in the interest of ensuring that maximum public safety is provided for those using and living downstream of the lake, the state determined that it was necessary to lower the water level while additional analysis were performed.

It is expected that design work, environmental documentation and permitting will take approximately two to three years, followed by construction work before the project is completed.

*** During this time, Lake Perris Marina will be open to the public. ***
For more information please visit the Department of Water Resources.
