The Mount Pinos Campground is located about 15 miles from Frazier Park and a one hour drive from the greater Los Angeles area.  The campground is situated in a mature Jeffrey Pine forest and is open Memorial Weekend through October 18.

Escape from the LA traffic and congestion by coming up to Mt Pinos Campground.  Enjoy the cooler weather in the summer time and beautiful outdoors.  3 Miles up the road and you can enjoy star gazing and a beautiful spot for viewing meteor showers when they occur.

No Reservations, all sites are available on a first come, first served basis.

Campground Information

The campground has 19 family campsites complete with a picnic table, barbecue and fire ring. Room for tents and RVs.

Family Campsite $20 per site, per night

All prices are subject to change without notice.

Services & Facilities

Vault toilets are provided.  There is NO potable or non-potable water at the campground. BRING YOUR OWN WATER.

Enjoy the miles upon miles of Hiking and Biking trails that go straight out of the campground.

Star gazing is available just 3 miles up the road.  Bring your telescopes or just your eyes and enjoy the beautiful sights without the LA lights.

Directions

Take Interstate 5 to Frazier Park exit. Go west on Frazier Mountain Park Road for 6 miles to Cuddy Valley Road. Bear right at Cuddy Valley Road to Lockwood Valley Road. Continue 6 miles to Mount Pinos Highway. Go 4 miles to Mount Pinos Campground.
